for some reason whenever i play the game get into a weird resolution and i can't change it into fullscreen

That's weird! Could you screenshot it? You can press K for Fullscreen!

i uninstalled and installed it again and it worked now!

After playing, I have to say that the game is very well made and the graphic style is unique. I have to say that it's been a while since I've seen a game that excites me this much in this genre. WAY BETTER than the pictures suggest it really good, my only gripe is that sometimes the font and writing is hard to read, but its an A tier game. Good work

I have barely started, but this might be getting really good if you continue to develop stuff with these characters, even if much changes from the starting point later, like even graphics maybe.

I really love your games, very well made! Like some other people have said I can't download it using the itch.io app with the latest update, not really a problem though since you can just download the zip file online.

I actually can't download it, i didn't expected you would forget to get it ready for the Itch.io app this time.

Since it works with the first one I assume you already know how to do it?

I only know that there should be a box that you can check in some option on your end. I have no idea how that looks like since I never made a game, but I got told that much.

Your first game has that for some reason i would say. I assume that is why I could download it on here.

Maybe it's something you can do if you push out a game or an update or you have to take a look at the options.


It tells me no download is found on my end if that helps you.

The downloadable is v0.3, but after reading it I revised the file and the app check wasn't on, sorry about that, is an easy to ignore checkbox

That was an answer from another dev, so that is the only thing that I can offer to make it aviable for the app, a checkbox?

Previous adventure; can be the hero beating the crap outta your enemies!
This one; No violence! Cause plot reasons!
Me; .... I don't like it.
While I do get the mechanics, I don't like the more story driven stuff. (Maybe cause ADHD.) I liked the platforming and fighting. So the whole point of "Oh, you're not the great hero anymore cause you are not allowed to use violence anymore" is kinda a contrived point. If it was me, I'd literally bust out the violence and whup all their butts at that point.
The art is fine, the animations are fine. I just don't like the plot point.

That's fair! Lots of folks did express that they prefer this, so I suppose it's just the matter of opinion!

I just grabbed the most recent download, 1.14(2)

I was able to confirm that other medium endings work just fine still. I was even able to finally see the tentacle potion in action. 

So I decided to start again and go for the specific ending combination that was causing the looping and I can confirm that even on 1.14(2) the looping still occurs. 
By beating Gummy, Crusher, and winning Jester's Game day one
Night 1 I just make a potion. 
Day 2 I beat Gummy again, make the feeding potion so the Leezard stays and I don't get Poko. 
Night 2 I beat Crusher a second time. 

This results in the three being wimps to me in the Grove, as expected. But they still have the Lizard on their side. When I speak to Jester to initiate the Medium Ending sequence it will begin to fade to white before stopping, and leaving me able to speak to him again to initiate the ending. On loop. 

This is the only ending sequence I've had this occur on. Specifically where I've bested the Jerks, but did not rid the Beeg Lizard. 

I can confirm i get the same issue too.
I redid it and it is still looping saddly

You're welcome. The game is still 100%able even without this specific combination working. But I figured others are also bound to run into it on their playthroughs.

Lizzy Eats A Tree is a wonderful exemplification of the advantages which indie games have over larger productions, while not the most technically impressive game the minigames are fun and reasonably challenging, it boasts an incredibly unique and floppy artstyle which I find deeply pleasing to look at, furthurmore the presence of the many little details and easter eggs present in the many branching paths for the ending as well as throughout the course of the game itself gives the game a certain charm which is difficult to find even among other indie titles

Conclusion: This game is a solid 8/10, slightly rough around the edges in some capacities, however ultimately a very enjoyable experience which I had the privilege of enjoying for free, keep up the good work!

Bug: if you sleep before talking to the person in your bedroom on the second night, you wake up and instantly crash after going into the hallway when day 3 comes around

Aha, good report! You're not supposed to be able to sleep when he is there, so, that must be a code mishap, I'll try to fix it in the next build!

I believe I have just fixed your bug! I don't think you will be able to continue, but it should not happen again for anyone else - sorry about this, I released the game yesterday, so, there are still bugs like that!

Hey, your game is excellent and your art is so amazing it really gives some old 2d 90' vibes

I am really enjoying it alot!

But unfortunalty i am stuck at the end of the game where it reset each time where i want to do the medium ending.
Each time i talk to Doom Jester to confirm my playthrought it loops back.
I have updated it to the newest version and it is still occuring.

Great game still! Honestly keep it up! I love everything about your art since quite a while!

Hoorayy! I just updated the game - see if that fixes it!

I've 100% the game but noticed there was a tentacle potion thanks to the comment. I started up a new save, ran through real quick going while defeating the jerks. I beat Jester's game. Made the dark potion at night. Forgot to check their pc.

Fed the Beeg Lizard just the feeding potion, didn't recruit Poko. But I did swap the potions out.
Crusher is tiny and no one attempts to bully me in the Grove. I paint the flags. Can't do the password of course. 

After that I talk to Jester and like above it loops me back to before I started the conversation with him to initiate the ending. 

This would also be a medium ending. 

I have updated. 
Sorry for the long post, I just wanted to provide the specific triggers my ending is on incase that matters at all. 

The game is lovely. I've had a blast seeing all the different endings and variations in the medium endings. 

I actually almost did the same i defeated all the jerks but i gave the big lizard the feeding potion instead and i picked the power potion at night.

And it gave me the medium ending. And i can't confirm like you, it keeps looping me back.

I feel like it might be because we defeated all three jerks but didn't scare off the Beeg Lizard. At least that's what it sounds like since the potions are different and therefore unlikely the source. And I've also gotten a ton of different medium endings, just not one where I defeated them and kept the lizard around

Try it now, see if that works!

The issue seems to persist.
I can try going back through the entire game making the same choices, but that'll taking longer than loading the save already at the grove. 

Saddly, it is recurring once again and i actually tried to do a new run by beating all the jerks, brewing the power potion, feeding the big lizard which result not being helped by Poko and it give me the medium ending.

and it is still looping back somehow.

Sorry to report this continuing issue.

The newest patch addresses this exact issue! See if that fixes it!

I have updated once again! 

But saddly the loop is always here, i get back the the moment before the choice  without being able to confirm the medium ending.

Maybe I should retry an another maybe it will fix itself.

I know this is not top priority since there are bugs to be fixed, but could you eventually add the actual scenes to the gallery? as in, i would like to read the dialogue while the animations happen, i think they are just as important and fun as the animations thenselves, by the way, great game!

i got stuck in the ending i cant move nor interact pain there isnt a unstuck button or something (ending has the final preparation i got stuck aside doom jester ) is 1.07 btw

Try v.1.08, I tried fixing that kinda stuff in the Stompo Grove!

I liked this sequel just as much as the prequel, will there perhaps be one more game?

played the last game before and as soon as i noticed that this is finally out i went to download it immediatly! still havent played it but i will put my thought of it after im done with it!

Ok so Im not done with the game yet and I still haven’t gotten an ending but I LOVE this game, the story and jokes are as good as the last game and I like the usage of the mini game for saying no, but I have one problem! I don’t know if it’s me but sometimes in the mini game to say no the text sometimes go super fast leaving me no room to react and immediately making me lose, have multiple at once making me not have time to get all of them before I get hit by one or two or both at the same time! Maybe if there was an option in a later update to make it so the mini game is a tad bit easier for people like me so we can at least have a chance at getting the true ending that would help! (Also the strength upgrade thingy feels unnecessary for my part? Idk why but a large amount of the mini games have the text just being one shot without the strength upgrade) still a great game! Keeps getting better!

I'd say skill issue, but it took me like 2 hours to get the true ending myself so :P

I almost got the true ending but the ambush part at the last night messed me up

oof, a tip I have is that when you get an attack speed power up it's a timed thing rather than a flat boost to your firing speed, so you should just start spamming it whenever you get one rather than trying to be accurate until it runs out

I just came upon a game-crashing bug at meeting Yugo after winning to all but the gamer spiko, yet I didn't when I won to ONLY him (1st time anyway).

That was before the 1.02 version thoug

It's no longer there. Also, is it just me or did it get HARDER to say no to the gamer spiko? I've had no luck doing so this update. Also, if he's defeated the 2nd time, will there be a scene of him sucking that other spiko off?
